Godsend

I was unable to wake up very well for years. The combination of light and noise makes me feel wide awake. I never have to hit the snooze button because I am wide awake the first time it goes off.

Works pretty well for what it is: an inexpensive timed lamp.

I like the selection of alarm sounds, and that the light usually wakes me up before the alarm itself. The light is reasonably bright without being blinding and the brightness level can be adjusted both in the alarm clock mode and the lamp mode.The UI is pretty poorly designed: this is not an alarm clock for somebody who has trouble navigating buttons and functions. There are also several smooth buttons on the top, and I wish that they had at least one nub or texture so you could more easily tell them apart by touch.Does the job overall. For what it is, I wish it cost about ten bucks less than it does and wouldn't recommend it unless it's on a good sale. Now that I know this type of alarm clock works for me, I will look at replacing it with a better model.
