I have never had such a fancy colander! I love that I can tip it to dump the water but the food never falls out! It is also compact enough that it doesn't take up a huge amount of space. It is made a bit cheaply in my opinion but it does the job really well and I'm never going back to a normal colander ever again. It's also really nice that it comes with so many different kitchen tools, especially for the price. As long as you're not super aggressive with this item, I think you'll be fine getting it!
Perfect for singles, easy to use and clean.
Kodu Home's multi-functional set makes it so simple to provide clean fresh fruits and vegetables for our family meals. The integrated slicer means that I don't need another kitchen gadget for those types of preparation tasks, and it's also a great strainer for pasta and macaroni. It really is a handy and versatile kitchen accessory. I'm seriously considering ordering another one for our camper as well.
I really like how it looks a bit like an elephant. The mixing bowl has the legs at the bottom. The part that the grinding attachments are pressed into has circular parts on the side that allow it to attach to the bowl and those look like ears. The handle looks like a trunk. It’s very cute. 🐘The mixing bowl is fine, but I wish the it had some measurement lines. The mixing bowl has a convenient handle with a removable cover.When you lean the bowl one way, the colander leans in that direction without falling out of the mixing bowl. The colander didn’t even fall out even when I totally inverted the bowl. It’s also easy to completely remove the colander.It comes with 9 grinding attachments: 3 for slicing, 3 for grating and 1 for grinding. So, I like the versatility. It is a bit hard to press the attachments in and to push them out.There is also a piece that grips things you’re trying to slice plus a potato peeler and whisk.The colanders and the grinder attachments aren’t too hard to clean. Everything else is very easy to clean.The quality is decent and there’s a lot of versatility. So, I think it’s decent for the price. 👍🏾
This is a pretty interesting colander. I’ve never seen another one like it. It revolves and has multiple grates for all kinds of grating of fruits and vegetables. It’s easy to drain once you get the hang of it but it’s different so it takes some practice.
